When Turkeys Fly

Updated: Jun 24, 2020

Sometimes, it doesn’t take much to knock you down when you think you’ve got it all under control.

It’s in these valleys, flat on our faces, that God often does his greatest work, gently prompting us to get back up, dust ourselves off, and learn to live more confidently in Christ.

Not sure how. Watch this video for a couple of suggestions to get you started.

Here are this week’s 3 O’Clock Circle Questions.

1. While you’re spending so much time at home, how can you be reminded you’re not alone? What objects can you put around your living space to remind you God will never leave and has great plans for you?

2. Think of a time in your life when your trust in God grew. Were you on a mountain top, or in a valley? How has God come through for you in the past? Share your faith story and regain a steadfast trust in God.

3. Take out your calendar and circle a date you’re looking forward to. Is it a summer trip, a wedding, or perhaps a fall conference? On that date, write “Raise a Glass!” As a reminder to toast your loved ones, and that you made it through this COVID crisis with a greater confidence in Christ.
