For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power, and love,
and self-control. – 2 Timothy 1:7 (ESV)

SMALL GROUP QUESTIONS
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. – Galatians 5:22-23
Real – What was the first thing that came to your mind when you heard God’s spirit gives you self-control? CLAIM IT aloud to God and others.
Raw – What needs to decrease or lose control in your life? What needs to increase in its place? In COMMUNITY, one on one or with your small group, share where you need more self-control.
Relevant – Make a list of small ways you can practice self-control. Then read your list and circle the easiest one. Start there and COMMIT to it! Small steps of self-control will place your feet on a disciplined path.
Jesus’ disciples are disciplined
so they can focus on the work God has planned for them to do.
